The 404 Run is Atlanta’s newest signature running event, created to honor the city’s unique culture, community, and area code (4.04 miles). This inaugural run will be on 404 Day, April 4, 2026. The event blends fitness, pride, and celebration into an unforgettable one-of-a-kind experience. This will be a fast course that will lead runners on an electrifying journey through some of the most beautiful and iconic areas of the city. Culminating in a celebration that only Atlanta can pull off. The 404 Run isn’t just a race — it’s Atlanta on display.

Some runners choose to dedicate their miles to someone who is fighting cancer—or someone they’ve lost. If that’s meaningful to you, we invite you to make the 404 Run your moment of honor.
This is completely optional. There’s no obligation, no spotlight—just a quiet way to carry someone with you across the finish line.
If you choose, you’ll have the opportunity during registration to share the name of the person you’re running for. Their name may be included on our “Who Are You Running For?” dedication wall, a space created to honor strength, resilience, and love.
